Make That Difference!

We often hear of how to change the world. One person at a time! That begins right here, right now, through us! The Extreme Angels who are willing to go to the extremes to change the way people view the world. All it takes is ONE positive action to change a bad mood, to give hope, to prevent a suicide, and to show unconditional love! You never know what is inside a blessee’s mind. Your kindness may save more than one life! And you may never know, but our Creator does! Thank you for becoming an Extreme Angel! Please pray before embarking on any duties. Let our Great Creator, God lead your steps! And always use your wisdom. Be cautious and watchful. God Bless you for your time and willingness!


Duties
Category 1: Helping Wings

His House EA:
These Extreme Angels find someone in their church who needs a ride on Sundays. Perhaps needs someone to spend time with after church rather than going home alone. These Angels have a closer relationship with their blessee’s and can continue on for a life long relationship.


Word Giving EA:
Give a Bible to those who are in need.



Home Sweet Home EA:
Some times people are just too depressed, to tired, over worked and over stressed to do their jobs inside or outside their own homes. Our HSHEA’s will aid people in cleaning their homes, gardens, yards, fixing up, patching, and more. So much fun can be had here. It only takes a few hours and can bring a lot of light into a tired and worn spirit.



Car Pool EA:
Know anyone whose kids need a ride to school or someone who needs a ride to work? No explanation needed for this one.



Earthly Roommates EA:
Our furry and feathered friends also need helping hands. There are so many strays and needy creatures out there. As my friends and I do, we go around the neighborhoods with food and water. Many volunteer with the area vets to round up the strays and get them vaccinated and fixed. This is a fun and rewarding Extreme Angel duty!



Time On My Hands EA:
These wonderful Extreme Angels find either shelters, (homeless , orphanages, or even animal shelters, lodges) churches, convents, monestaries or non profit groups and volunteer their time.

These Extreme Angels criteria is time. Are your kids grown and out of the house? Are you retired? Do you have spare time on the weekdays or week ends? Then this will fit in nicely with your schedules if you have answered yes!



I Love My Senior Citizen EA:
This is a fun and rewarding duty! There is always a need for company for our elderly generation. I have personally heard, over and over again, “Once you get old, all you want is someone to come and spend some quality time with you!” In fact the last woman I heard this statement from passed away just a month after she spoke those words to me. I had yet to go over to her house with my busy schedule. Luckily her daughter lived next door. However, the words were loud and clear! And though I thought of going over daily, I had not done so. What an impact that has had on me.

So please, if you hear those words come from someone’s mouth, take it as a sign! You can learn so much from our elderly friends, as well, you will lift their spirits, even if you are just sitting in silence just smiling at each other!


Category 2: (Tough and Rewarding)

Street Talkin’ EA:
These are our hard core angels! These Extreme Angels hit the streets and find strangers who appear in dire straights. They strike up conversations, find out a little bit about the person. Take them for coffee and bless them with something the person truly needs. These Angels are our inspiration!!!



Hope Through Action EA:
This is a big job for big hearts. This duty is a lot more involved than the others here on the list. It entails searching for individuals or families that are at a desperate edge in their lives and running with them for aid, for jobs, finding homes, etc. This is a hands on, fill the entire need as much as possible duty. Each case will be unique so there is no “list” on this description. Here, intuition and talking with and listening to will guide you.

Strong characters, people who know people and those with enormous hearts are encouraged to participate in this duty more often. Also, this duty can not be done on rotation. It must be done until the duty is complete. It may get very involved. If you have knowledge of the Welfare Dept and how it works etc. We NEED YOU! Do you know who to go to for families that are almost homeless, need benefits, are losing everything? There are Plenty who NEED YOU! They need anyone who is willing to go that extra 50 miles to give them hope towards their future versus sheer fear of facing the unknown alone. Please keep a professional distance, however, because this can really get personal.



Bed of Stone EA:
These special Extreme Angels target areas in their cities and/or towns where the homeless spend their days and nights. They gather food, sandwiches, drinks, items of needed clothing and take them individually to the person. These Extreme Angels do not give money from their pocket, rather take the person with them to a sandwich or coffee shop and buy them a meal. Or bring the meal to them. The clue for these Extreme Angels is this question. “Do you have some spare change so I can buy a coffee?” (A sandwich, a donut etc) And often just the look in someones eyes can tell you if they are true or not.



Teen EA:
This category of Extreme Angels uses the gift of gab and wisdom to the highest degree. Some of the most needy people in the world are our teens! Between inner struggles of changing bodies, hormones, anger issues, peer pressure and so much more, there is always a teen around the corner in need of a good mentor. Also with the rampant use of drugs, alcohol and pressure regarding sex, teens struggle more today than ever before. Can you handle this? I know you can!



Pocket full of Pennies EA:
These are for our wealthier Extreme Angels! These Extreme Angels will find people through people they know, churches and even the schools and financially aid people in dire situations. These givers will pay a utility bill, for a weeks worth of groceries, even a rent if they can afford it without pinching their own budgets. Maybe someone needs gas? A car payment? A school payment that they just can’t afford this month. There is always someone in need. And it is true. God rewards greatly those who give without expecting to receive back. Not every one can be a Financial Extreme Angel, so do not worry if you can not.
Duties will be on rotations. No one will do the same thing continuously unless they so desire. If one chooses to continue on, this honor system stays between you, the Creator and the blessees!


Hospice EA:

Though, this one can be quite mentally draining and exhausting, it is highly needed! Many people are abandoned by family once their illness hits the final stages. Often, families are either angry or too afraid to watch their family member go from a living being into another form all together. Something that many can not handle. Please, if you are strong of character and extremely compassionate, I urge you to consider this duty! Believe it or not, you will feel gratification while just being there for someone who knows their outcome. They will appreciate it, even if they can not tell you.



Defending the innocent EA:

This duty entails aiding victims of abuse. If you can handle hitting the streets and talking with prostitutes, many are pleading with the Creator to get them out of their hell. Another form, is child abuse or domestic violence. Far too many step back and do not do a thing while fully aware of what is going on. Again, take precautions for this one is a very difficult duty and one that is more geared towards professionals.


Again, a great thank you to all of you who will and do volunteer your time and energy towards helping those who are in dire need.

This is not an organization, but a way of life.
